A 2014 published article in the Journal of Biosciences and Medicine has found that the body reacts to exposure to EMF fields with the same stress response it uses when confronted with Heavy Metal toxicity.
The stress response issued by the body affects the inflow and outflow of nutrients and toxins to the cell. The body, when confronted with Heavy Metals such as Mercury, Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium and Nickel in the bloodstream chooses to protect itself by protecting its smallest and most important componenent, its cell.
The cell needs nutrients and, being a living entity, also produces waste. This continual inflow of nutrients coming from the bloodstream and then waste going out is crucial for the survival of the cell.
The study found that when the body was exposed to even extremely low levels of electromagnetic fields the cells reacted by closing off their membranes. The membrane is what surrounds the cell and enables it to eat and excrete. The membrane chooses what to allow in to the cell and what to allow out.
Under the duress of EMFs, the cells stop allowing in any food and are then unable to release any waste. This type of stress response is also seen when cells are exposed to Heavy Metals and it is the reason Heavy Metal Toxicity is being implicated as the root cause of so many degenerative diseases.
Once the cell stops functioning, cellular communication becomes disrupted. This leads to an inefficient functioning of the body, which we perceive as symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, brain fog, numbness in the extremities, tinnitus, hair loss, skin rashes, sleep disturbances and more.
Continual long-term disruption of cellular communication causes dysfunction in the body, leading to a host of degenerative diseases.
The researchers concluded:
"The cell membrane receptors recognize EMFs at very low levels of exposure by producing a stress response similar to that produced by exposure to heavy metals or toxic chemicals, This can cause the cell membrane to go from an active or permeable state where it allows nutrients in and toxins out, to an inactive state where the cell is impermeable."
