Denmark School Performs Science Experiment
Ninth graders in Denmark performed a basic science experiment in their school involving the effects of microwave radiation on seeds. The students used cress seeds and a cell phone. One batch of seeds were wetted and set to germinate on a towel. The other batch of seeds were also wetted and set on a towel. The second batch of seeds were exposed to cell phone radiation from an active cell phone periodically throughout the day. After several days, the first batch of seeds sprouted while the batch exposed to cell phone radiation never did.
