Editors Note: The following article is from EMF Blues. Please check them out here.Did you know the heart is an extremely electrically dynamic organ?
The beating heart creates its own electromagnetic field. The EMFs your heart generates makes up about 10% of your body's entire electromagnetic field. Studies on the heart are finding that the external EMF field we live in continuously that consists of artificial, man-made frequencies has a direct effect on our heart's health. It seems these external EMF fields can disrupt the functioning of our hearts and cardiovascular systems.
To date, heart disease is the number one killer in both the United States and Canada. While heart disease can be linked to many causes, the role external EMFs play in heart health is becoming more of a topic of study.
For instance, recent human studies on the heart and EMFs have shown that workers at an AM radio station who were routinely exposed to electromagnetic frequencies developed issues with their hearts. Irregular heart beats, called arrhythmias, were seen in 83% of the workers.
According to the Mayo Clinic:
"Heart rhythm problems (heart arrhythmias) occur when the electrical impulses that coordinate your heartbeats don't work properly, causing your heart to beat too fast, too slow or irregularly."
Is it any wonder that irregular heart beats are among the most reported side-effect from Smart Meter radiation?
The heart muscle creates its own endogenous EMFs due to its electrical activity. The EMFs created by the heart affect the body's cardiovascular system, immune system and central nervous system.
Which brings us to stress and the heart. The heart is very susceptible to stress. Both physical and emotional stress can create changes in the entire cardiovascular system. For example, blood pressure changes are immediately detected when the heart is stressed.
Does the earth's own electromagnetic field effect your heart? According to a recent study out of Eastern Europe, natural changes in the earth's geomagnetic field have a negative impact on heart health and can lead to a worsening of heart disease.
With so much evidence pointing to the heart's vulnerability regarding external EMF exposure, this Valentines Day, be good to your heart by harmonizing the electromagnetic fields in your environment!
