New Swiss Study
A Swiss Study published on July 23rd, 2018 in Environmental Health Perspectives has linked memory loss in teens to cell phone use.
The study done by The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, which included 700 adolescents, found that the amount of memory loss experienced by the teens correlated with the amount of time spent using a cell phone pressed against the ear.
Brain Absorbs RF Radiation
The study found that when cell phones are held up to the ear the radiation from the cell phones was absorbed into areas of the brain that are involved with memory.
This provides human confirmation of what has previously been found with experimental animals.Animals lose memory of where to find food after being exposed to cellphone radiation.
Scientist Says More To Learn
The lead researcher on the study, Martin Roosli, said we are in the early stages of understanding how RF radiation affects the brain and that there is still much to learn.
According to Roosli, “It is not yet clear how RF-EMF could potentially affect brain processes...”
What is clear from the Swiss Study is that a harmful effect on memory was found with teens who used cell phones for over a year.
